Simcity

Heyy thurr,

In class we have been playing a video game called “simcity.” I’m sure you’ve heard of it. It’s where you build a city and like manage all the taxes and money that comes in. If you don’t use your money wisely though the city will crash and everyone will leave.

You start out by making places for them to live. If no one’s moving there it is probaably because there is nothing there for them. So you can put in a small clinic, and a small school. You can give them saftey by giving them a police station an a fire station. Eventually people will start moving there, but then they need jobs.

For jobs you can put in industrial buildings, but you have to make sure you don’t put the industrial part of the town too close to the living areas because then no one will live there. soon you have a small town with about 500-600 people living there. But, problems do start happening.

The people have essential needs just like us. So we have to put in water pipes and electricity, roads, stores, etc. You can then put those in. This is how far I have gotten in Sim City. I’ll be working on Sim City this afternoon and maybe I’ll learn a little bit more.
