RED Campaign…

Today in class we were working on blogs. Before we went over to the lab to work on our blogs Mr.Fisher told us about RED campaign. He told us that we could make a post about it and I wanted to right away.

If you go to The Nata Village Blog you’ll get a whole load of links and information, and from page to page you’ll get more and more links and maybe you’ll write a post about RED campaign too!

Bono, from the band U2 asked companies to make a product that is red and to give a portion of the profits to fight AIDS in Africa. 5 500 people are dying a day of AIDS, so this is a really good cause.

Many different companies are making different red products to support AIDS.
Apple, is making red i-pod nanos. Ten dollars of peoples purchases will go to fight AIDS. I tought this was an excellent idea because nanos are getting more and more popular every day, and most likely lots of people will like this idea and buy one! Click HERE to learn more about this!

Converse All Star is making red converse shoes. Five percent of their profits will go to fight AIDS! Click HERE to read more about the red converse shoes.

Also, Gap designed clothes for this campaign. Click on the work gap to find out more about their red products!

This RED campaign is a really great idea. I hope that they raise lot’s of money and find some cure or something and fight AIDS!

That’s all for now!

Hi I am called Nicholas. I am a student in China SAS. I am really happy what the people do to Africa, they sell their products and they will donate some of the money from the product to Africa because many people died from AIDS.
And the ipod nano looks really cool, I want to buy on also:)
