Dress Codes

Dress codes. I hate them. I’m not sure if your school has them, but most schools do and their retarded. Well maybe not all of them. I mean some are reasonable.

Here are some dress codes I’ve heard of:

Girls-No tank tops: Why? I’m not too sure. I read that it is because bra straps and sometimes stomachs show. I don’t see the problem with bra straps showing, but if their stomach is showing then yesthere is a problem.

Guys-No muscle shirts: Why? I have no idea. Most guys usually wear baggy muscle shirts and if not, they most likely will not show their stomach!

Guys and Girls-Shoes. I think you should be able to use your outdoor shoes to go inside. If you wanted to buy indoor shoes you could but I think only indoor shoes is fine.

Guys and Girls-Limit to piercings and tatoos. Why? I don’t have an explaination for that. But I think you can have whatever kind of tatoo or piercing you choose. BUT if the tatoo is like a bad picture or swearing. Yeah I’d think they would have to cover it up.

Girls- Miniskirts. To me this seems to be a big issue in lots of schools and in my opinion. I think they should not be worn in school.

Those are my opinions! If you have any opinion on this blog post just tell me on my comment board. I’d really like to see everyone elses opinion on Dress Codes.

Big thanks goes out to Hillary for this idea. Please check out her blog, she brings up some really interesting topics!

Hey, I think that you are right. I think that it wouldn’t be fair to the “bigger” people if the “skinny” people got to wear all short skirts and show off for boys and stuff. And swearing tatoos? What is the point of them, anyways, I totally agree with you! Bye

    Hi Shyla! :)
lol… you are sitting right beside me right now. I agree with this post. I don’t really like dress codes, but I think schools have them for a reason. I really think you did a wonderful job on this post, keep it up! :D
