The meaning of text

Hey!
In school right now we are learning about different types of text. This is something I have never really thought about before so I’m learning some pretty useful stuff. My favourite type of text would have to be written text and video.
Written text is cool because some stories can be so good. Last year I read this book called “Maine Squeeze” by Catherine Clark. It was a really good book. I couldn’t put it down and I was really upset when I was done reading it.
I love movies. Some of my favourite movies are The Notebook, John Tucker must Die, Mean Girls, 50 First Dates, Wayne’s World and She’s the Man. But I’d have to say my number one favourite movie is 50 first dates. I watched that movie at least 50 times too! 
50 first dates was released in 2004. It is a romantic comedy starring Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler. Adam Sandler is my favourite actor so that’s one reason why I like it so much.
Text can can be more than just written things. Text can be a painting, photography, audio, video games and movies. When you think about it no one really takes the time to actually stop and think about the work “text”. To me it’s a very powerful word with more than just one meaning!:mrgreen:

Hey Shyla!! Your post made me think what is that book about. Since you thought it was a good book, you might have wanted to put down what the book was about. Otherwise, great blog post!!

I love Adam Sandler movies and everything else he does interviews, SNL skits, music he’s good at everything.
